Introduction

1: According to the author of "Fast Food Nation", the McDonald's Corporation has become a powerful symbol of America's service economy. This is obviously true if the Golden Arches are more widely recognized than the Christian Cross. McDonald's is also the nation's largest purchaser of beef, pork, and potatoes, and the second largest purchaser of chicken. McDonald's spends more money on advertising and marketing than any other brand, which in return ended up replacing Coca-Cola as the world's most famous brand.
2: The author wrote this book , and I quote, "out of a belief that people should know what lies behing the shiny, happy surface of every fast food transaction. They should know what really lurks between those sesame-seed buns."

  1. Creative blog.

Please write out the Qs you're answering next time. Your first response is right on. Right your reactions to the questions. For example, what do you think about the notion that the Golden Arches are more recognized than the Christian cross? Wow! Also, never leave a quote alone. You must explain and elaborate more. What do you think so far? Will this book make you think twice?
